STEP builds new shoe lasts from whatever a buyer already has on hand — a sample shoe, a bare outsole, or an existing last that needs revising.

From a Sample Shoe

3D scan or manual measurement of an existing shoe becomes the base geometry for a new, factory-ready last.

From an Outsole

Given simply an outsole, the technical team reconstructs a matching last profile from the ground up.

From an Existing Last

An existing last — STEP's own or another maker's — is revised and refined into a new, updated version.
